SquadraCorse can now rely also on the technology of Tebis Italia. The IT company that develops CAD / CAM software for design and construction of molds, models and tools, have made available their resources to the team in a process of reverse engineering.
The operation, which consisted of scanning a silicon rubber mold of the intake manifolds, with the Steinbichler equipment (of which Tebis is distributor for Italy), has resulted in a final 3D model, ready for use in the Catia environment and CFD software.
A technology that allowed the Engine Division to get a detailed and accurate analysis of flows within the inlet ducts, leading to the consequent decision to operate a narrowing of these.
